Your personal information will be collected by us when you contact us or place an order. We may collect the following data: name, home and email address, telephone number and photographic data.
Use of Personal Information
We use the personal information collected to facilitate taking your photographs, dealing with your order and communicating with you regarding your photographs.
Secure Protection
Your personal information is not stored electronically (except corresponding emails between you and Chapman Smith Photography) and order forms and contact sheets are shredded after 6 months. We will not pass on your personal information to third parties unless you give us permission to do so, to fulfil your order or where we are required by law to do so.
Nursery Photography
In light of the change in law under the GDPR, all parents/legal guardians must sign a photography consent form in advance of a shoot. We will only use your child's photographs for the purpose of the parent/legal guardian purchasing them, unless the parent/legal Guardian has provided explicit consent for another purpose. We will not allow any other third parties access photographs of your child, except to fulfil your order.
Retaining and Deleting Images
Images are available on our private password protected gallery for up to 1 year after a shoot. After which the images will continue to be stored for up to 3 years, unless agreed otherwise. If you would like us to remove your images earlier, please contact us at anna@chapmansmithphoto.com.
